People enjoy spending time outside especially if it is comfortable and beautiful to do so. We can prioritize creating effective "third spaces" in every community neighborhood in Kansas City. These shared spaces offer shelter from hot summer sun, a place to sit and gather with friends or neighbors. When people enjoy a space, they will also help to keep it clean and safe which deters criminal activity and increases property value and a sense of community.
