Sidewalks Needed Please

Pedestrian Shopping Zones Please

Kellie Herman•2 years ago I would love to see pedestrian-only shopping areas where you can freely walk with adult beverages, sit at tables in the middle of the street, and enjoy vibrant scenes with big, brightly colored umbrellas, street vendors, and performers, similar to what you might find at the San Antonio River Walk or Boulder's Pearl Street shopping area.

Yard Signs

Kellie Herman•2 years ago I honestly love yard signs like the ones used to tell the public about an upcoming festival. The Ethnic Fest comes to mind! What if that's how the City shared a public meeting about the budget or it's priorities. I usually see them as I drive to work or the grocery store. They really work!!

Name the Meeting in Simple Terms

Kellie Herman•2 years ago Something that would help me get to more public meetings is to understand what the meeting is about from the title. For example, if the City is having a Business Meeting, I think that I may have nothing to contribute because I'm not running a business. However, if the title says something like Help the City Prioritize the Budget, I will likely think I can help.
