Learn About Environmental Health and How It Impacts You
Environmental health isn't just about the environment; it's also about how the places we live, work, and enjoy affect our health and safety.
The Kansas City Health Department is hosting free public information sessions as part of our Straight from the Source Environmental Health Series. These sessions will help residents better understand what the Environmental Health Services Division does, such as food safety inspections, childhood lead-poisoning prevention, healthy housing assessments, and offers you the chance to speak directly to the experts.
These sessions are an opportunity to learn how we can support you in reducing risks, recognizing issues early, and responding effectively when challenges arise.
Our first three sessions are listed by topic below, and we'll continue updating this page as new events are added.
