Complete an online PIAC application to tell PIAC about needed public improvements. The application deadline is August 31. To have a form mailed to your address, please call (816) 513-1062 or email piac@kcmo.org. 

Attend the Public PIAC Hearings

Apply now and consider attending one of the public hearings to speak to Council and the PIAC committee members directly about your neighborhood concerns. PIAC application forms will also be available at the public hearings. See below for a list of the dates, times, and locations for the Summer PIAC hearings.

When will I find out if my application is accepted?

You will receive notification of the final result of your application in April 2026. If your project is accepted, the funding will be allocated in May. However, please be aware that you might not see work being accomplished right away, especially if engineer review and design or conceptual design are required first as part of the scope. If funded for construction, projects can take anywhere from 3 months to over 2 years depending on the scope of the project.
