Troost Corridor Safety Improvements
Kansas City is working to make the Troost corridor safer, and your feedback is needed to make that happen! The City is evaluating transportation conditions along Troost Avenue. Your input will help shape future improvements, focusing on safer intersections, improved pedestrian walkways, updated traffic signals, and more!

- Troost & 24th St - Road Diet
- Troost & 31st St – Pedestrian Intersection improvements
- Troost & 82nd Ter – Pedestrian & Transit Intersection improvements
- Troost – 82nd Ter to Bannister - Adding Pedestrian walkways
- Troost & 51st St.– Adding a new Traffic Signal
- Troost near 79th St. - HAWK signal installation (high-intensity activated crosswalk beacon)

The project team is now seeking feedback about the entire Troost corridor
After collecting data about safety solution for Troost Ave. from 55th St. to 63rd St., efforts are being expanded to evaluate what safety improvements are needed along the entirety of the Troost corridor. Fill out the new version of the survey to help shape what comes next!
