Wornall Road: Road Diet Project Feedback

Kansas City needs your feedback to help improve safety on Wornall Road! The stretch of Wornall Road between W 63rd Street to W Gregory Boulevard sees an average of 5000 to 6000 vehicles per day and is listed on the city's "high injury network." Due to this crash data, the area has been identified for a "road diet" ordinance, aiming to improve pedestrian and traffic safety. The project team now wants to hear from the community to see if they support a road diet.

A road diet is a mechanism that could reduce crashes by changing lane configurations. This proposed road diet involves converting the existing 4 lanes of traffic to 3 lanes, as pictured above.
